MOSCOW, Jun 1 (PRIME) -- Russia almost doubled its oil exports to the U.S. on the month to 4.218 million barrels in March, ranking the sixth largest oil exporter to the country, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) said in a report late on Tuesday.
Canada was the largest exporter with supplies falling by 17% on the month to 125.26 million barrels of oil, while Mexico’s exports decreased by 27% to 20.365 million barrels, and Saudi Arabia’s supplies gained 26% to 15.624 million barrels.
Russia also remained the third largest exporter of oil and oil products to the U.S., with the combined deliveries growing by 8.7% to 17.825 million barrels. Canada ranked first with supplies increasing by 14.4% to 143.399 million barrels, and Mexico ranked second with exports falling 18.4% to 25.803 million barrels.
